Mukul losing trust of Mamata

Last couple of months it is seen that former AITC (All India Trinomool Congress) general secretary Mukul Roy has lost trust of Trinomool supremo Mamata Banerjee and a distance can be seen between Mukul Roy and Trinomool.

On 12^th January Mukul Roy was called to appear before CBI (Central Bauru Of Investigation) regarding Saradha scam but Roy was in Delhi and he informed CBI that he would meet after returning to Kolkata. On 14^th January he returned from Delhi and sought for 15 days extension to appear before the agency, saying he would be pre occupied with the by-election in two seats in the state. 

He left for Delhi again on 15^th January. Finally he appeared before CBI on 30^th January and was questioned for over 5 hours in connection with the saradha scam and after coming out he said that he will help CBI in the investigation this statement contradicts with the statement given by Trinomool supremo Mamata Banerjee and this led to distance between Mukul Roy and Mamata Banerjee. 

As a result Mamata Banerjee appoints Subrata Bakshi as the general secretary of AITC along with Mukul Roy.

On 28^th February he was removed as the leader of the party in Rajya Sabha and as the chief of the Parliamentary affairs of the party though no statement or reaction came from Mukul Roy though he avoided the meetings that held in kalighat to give indication to Trinomool supremo. Now the Trinomool Congress is divided into two paths one is the supremo Mamata Banerjee and the other one is  Mukul Roy.  

Political thinkers think that in order to promote Abhishek Banerjee as the next leader of Trinomool Congress the supremo Mamata Banerjee is cutting the power of Mukul Roy and the conflict between both them has reached to that level that the meeting that was held regarding corporation election Mukul Roy and his son Subhrangsu Roy was not called, even few months back it was impossible to think. Mukul Roy also differed from his supremo regarding the issue who will give back the money to the investors and all who has lost all the money in saradha.

Few months back Mamata Banerjee said that as CBI is investigating the matter so it is their duty to give back the money to the investors but Mukul Roy contradict and said that CBI is only in charge of the investigation not in charge of giving back the money it is someone’s else duty and he also said that the whip that has bought by CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechuri against BJP and all the oppositions voted for that, TMC shouldn’t vote along with CPI(M) . It is told that Mukul Roy will join BJP in few months, the time will tell about that though it is evident that Trinomool is divided into two groups Mamata Banerjee and the other one is Mukul Roy.
